Each ISPO Member Society is independent and implements, within its own country or region, any activities that will further the objectives of the International Society.
The Executive Board of ISPO Australia comprises 8 members, namely the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, the respective chairpersons of the Outreach, Science & Education, and Membership & Marketing Committees, and an ordinary board member.
There are 3 committees within ISPO Australia; Science & Education, Outreach, and Membership & Marketing.
The Science & Education Committee is responsible for the promotion and support of research, education and clinical training for professionals in the Rehabilitation setting. The Outreach Committee aims to promote Prosthetics and Orthotics education, and service delivery for low-income countries in the Pacific region. The Membership & Marketing Committee was established in 2015, with the aim of enhancing the interaction and communication within our National Member Society, and with the wider community with respect to the achievements, projects and goals of ISPO Australia.
